In the downtown Elmira core, between the TD Bank and the library at 47 Arthur St., you’ll find The Junction, home of Zion Mennonite Fellowship.  This congregation was formed in 1987 as a sister church to other Mennonite churches in the area.

Why are we here?

We’re here because we have good news to share!  God loves and cares for each of us and gives us hope through Jesus Christ, His Son.  Our passion is to help others experience what Jesus has to offer:  freedom, healing, hope, joy, life to the fullest!  Our community within the downtown area of Elmira provides us with numerous opportunities to become actively involved with our neighbours.  We work together with other area churches to share the good news of Christ.  We’re a dedicated fellowship who love God and want to honour Him.

Our Mission Statement

“To be a Christ-like presence that extends God’s love in our community.”

We have good news to share!

img_8332God loves and cares for each of us and gives us hope through Jesus Christ, his son.

As followers of Jesus, we can extend his love into this community.

Our passion is to help others experience what Jesus has to offer and we can do this under the direction of God’s Spirit:

  • opportunity to know God
  • freedom from fear, anxiety, addictions and anything that keeps us from experiencing joy
  • hope through new beginnings
  • peace in the midst of turmoil
  • unconditional love
  • deliverance from sinful life and its consequences
  • life without end
  • growth in character, giftings and talents

We are here to work with other churches in our community to share this good news.

We’re here as a community of people who love God and want to honour him.

As a family, we’re also a group that cares for each other.

A church is not a building; it is people!
